Alright, so a while back (not too long ago lol) I mentioned whether I should enter a poetry contest or not. Well last night I got a letter in the mail saying I'm a semi-finalist in the contest, but they also want to publish my poem! :D I couldn't be more ecstatic, but the problem is: the poem is kinda (ALOT) personal. I knew going into this contest that it was an extremely personal poem, and I have no problem with them publishing it at all! The main problem, is that I'm not entirely sure I want my whole family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) to read it. I mean, I'd absolutely LOVE to tell them that one of my poems may be publishe

So, for those of you who may know, I posted a poem on here I wrote a while back. While on facebook today, I saw a poem contest on the sidebar with all the other ads. In total, they'll pick 116 winners. I'd really like to enter! Problem is, I want to use that poem.. -considering it's the only one I've wrote-. It says that the poem can be about anything, but I'm wondering if I'm pushing those limits a bit far? And for the final question: Should I even enter in the first place?
